At Not Just Poodles, we offer a range of dog and cat grooming services from cutting out a matt to a full pamper. Our experienced staff are always happy to help and offer breed standard haircuts as well as pet trims. We use natural, top-quality products that are not only kind to your dog but also to the environment.

Please let us know if your pet has been unwell, has any lumps or bumps, or is on medication, as we are happy to use veterinary prescribed shampoos. It is also important to tell us if your pet
is nervous or aggressive so that we can allocate appropriate time to care for your dog accordingly.

Full Groom

Nail Trim
We offer a walk-in nail trim service for all big and small dogs. No appointment is necessary. If your dog is nervous, we will be happy to arrange a quiet time so that your pooch feels comfortable.

£10 (may be extra charge if the dog is nervous and requires two people)

Paw Tidy
Count on us to help you have your pet ‘pawfectly’ cleaned, especially in the summer months when the paw’s arch nemesis the grass seed, is out in full force. Our paw tidy services include:

  • Nail trim
  • Trimming pads
  • Removing any matts
  • Trimming long hairs on top and between toes

This is ideal between full grooms, keeping your pet matt free.
Includes:

  • Wash & Blowdry
  • Nail Trim
  • Eye & Bottom Trim

What it Covers..
For dogs that need clipping or de-shedding to breed standards or owner’s choice.

Includes:

  • Pre-groom consultation
  • Bath & Blowdry
  • Haircut or deshed (depending on the breed)
  • Nail Trim
    (Please note we do not brush out severely matted dogs and matts will be clipped out as this is the kindest way to groom. There will be an additional cost for this based on the size of the dog, starting from £5.)

    Hand Stripping

    What it Covers..
    Puppies can come in after their second vaccination, from 16 weeks old, although we reccommend 20 weeks. They will be gently introduced to grooming to ensure they have a positive and enjoyable experience.

    Includes:

    • Warm bath with Puppy Shampoo
    • Gentle blow dry
    • Nail check/trim
    • Trim in front of eyes, paw pads and bottom if necessary
    • Finishing spray
